Thermismooth
The Thermi250 electrode (flat metal disc) is applied to the skin’s surface and the device is set to a specific target temperature (i.e. 43C-45C). The electrode is gently moved in a sweeping or circular fashion while gradually heating up the skin surface. Unlike laser and Ultherapy, which can be very painful, the gradual heating of Thermi makes this treatment painless!
As the skin’s temperature rises to the target temperature, the radiofrequency output automatically adjusts to ensure precision of heating and safety. A targeted zone is treated for approximately 5-7 minutes to achieve the clinical goal. The areas under the skin can be targeted, providing a temporary reduction of cellulite. Longer treatment times (more than 9-10 minutes) can result in modest reduction of unwanted fat below the surface. These longer treatments can be combined with Mesotherapy Fat Loss treatments to synergistically enhance focal spot reduction of unwanted fat pockets.
